Hello there! Now that the GMTK2022 jam is over, it's time for us to update our game.
You were many to play the game and you enjoyed it a lot, thank you! You also gave us good feedback, that we were impatient to implement when the voting period would be over. As it is now the case, here is a new build and, with it, new changes.
A new map
While the map is a very important part in No Time To Dice! we found it to be a bit lacking in the spirit of the game. Moreover, some of you also pointed that the 'close map' button was not easy to see.
- A new map interface is now implemented, with a proper UI.
- The 'close map' button is now where the 'open map' button is located, at the bottom left of the screen.
No more repeating texts
A lot of you also noticed that, due to a bug, texts happening in some scenes would repeat upon revisiting those scenes, even after clearing them. This bug is now solved.
- When revisiting a cleared scene, dialogues will not be displayed again.
Minor quality of life fixes
- The last scene before the end is now properly centered and displayed.
- The transition between two scenes is now faster.
